It is Jen's turn to host The Cat's Pajamas Tuesday Challenge this week, and this time it a color challenge to use light pink, light yellow, light blue, and optional brown.
Thank goodness brown was included, since I was really stuck with these colors. I just don't care for primary colors together , and that is what they are, even if they are tints. If I have to use them, I want to add green too. This week's challenge was a challenge for me!
I waited until the end of the week to make my card. I could not order Alma's new stamps on the release date due to budget issues. So, I had to order them a week later, and the stamps finally arrived today. This is the only stamp that was willing to let me use the challenge colors and no green!
After making 3 cards for men this week, I wanted to do something feminine. Scallops and ribbons are feminine! My ribbon stash is tiny, but I had satin ribbons in the right colors! I doodled around the oval, drawing dashes and jelly beans. It is off-center. Too bad. I have been off-center all week, due to my injured knee (which is feeling much better). I inked a portion of the sentiment stamp with marker, since I wanted the card to say "Happy Easter" and nothing else.
Stuff used:
Stamps: "Jelly Bunny" and "Where are your Peeps?" from the new "Beans & Bunnies & Peeps, Oh My!" set from The Cat's Pajamas
Paper: Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin' Up: Barely Banana, Pink Pirouette, Bashful Blue
Ink: Versafine Onxy Black, SU Chocolate Chip and Close to Cocoa markers, Prismacolor pencils and Prismacolor Cold Stone Marker
Other: Satin Ribbon probably from Jo Ann (I think it was with my sewing stash until I moved into my stamping stash), Petite Oval Nestablilities.

Okay I love the bunny! He's too cute! I don't think the doodling looks off center.
I tagged you for an award meme on my blog. If you want to come on over and pick it up.
Alice, i love the idea of using ribbon as you did... gives a great look to the card. that TCP bunny is CUTE (we both ended up using him); he just says Easter... love the doodleling jellybean idea! Great job! Hoping your knee mends soon!
